NefAZ introduced first Russian bus for airports at exhibition in Moscow

UFA, 30 October 2017. /Bashinform News Agency, Olga Murtazina/. The NefAZ Bashkir Plant introduced a line of new buses, including model 5299-40-52 - the first Russian bus for airports at the International Commercial Transport Exhibition "Comtrans-2017" held in Moscow. The bus "debut" took place at the 13th International Aviation and Space Show "MAKS-2017" in August.

The bus for airports is built basing on the city model, part of the seats are dismantled to accommodate luggage. It is assumed that the new bus, being cheaper than foreign analogues, will be able to interest regional airports.

Another promising model presented at the exhibition is a NefAZ-6282 electric bus with high-speed charging (the announced time is about 8-12 minutes). The bus was tested in Moscow and St. Petersburg, after which it was acquired by the city authorities of Lipetsk, where it runs on one of the city routes, the press service of the government of Bashkortostan reported.
