Bashkiria will receive 6.6 billion rubles in dividends from Bashneft - Rustem Khamitov

Bashkiria will receive about 6.6 billion rubles of dividends from Bashneft, which the company plans to pay in the first nine months of 2017. The Head of the Republic Rustem Khamitov shared with TASS his comments on the company's Board of Directors recommendations.

"The Bashneft’s Board of Directors at its meeting has already adopted recommendations to allocate 26.3 billion rubles to pay dividends. Of course, we support and welcome this decision. Thus, the budget of Bashkortostan will receive 6.6 billion rubles of dividends on the republican block of shares in December this year", he said.

According to the head of the region, this is much more than the forecast amount. He added that the decision again underlined a confidential, partnership nature of cooperation between Bashkiria and Rosneft, and all agreements were fully implemented between the parties.

Tax revenues from Bashneft to the budget of Bashkiria grew by 7.3% over the nine months compared to the same period of the last year.

Rustem Khamitov noted that in the nine months the republican consolidated budget received about 21 billion rubles of tax and non-tax revenues from Bashneft.

"Bashneft will retain the volume of charitable assistance at the level of the last year - 4 billion rubles", Rustem Khamitov specified. According to him, for nine months the republic has already received 2.7 billion rubles.

These funds are directed to the design, construction, repair and equipment of nine kindergartens, 12 schools, nine cultural institutions, four health facilities, 10 sports facilities, modernization of water supply networks, treatment facilities, improvement of park areas, sports and cultural events, financing of hockey clubs Salavat Yulaev and Toros and other purposes.

"I am sure that our cooperation with Bashneft and Rosneft will be on the rise", the head of Bashkortostan added.
