More than half of cars purchased through loans in Russia

UFA, 27 October 2017. /Bashinform News Agency, Galiya Nabieva/. In Russia, over 200,000 loan cars were bought for the third quarter of 2017. This figure has not been so high since 2015. The data are presented in a joint study by the "Autostat" agency and the National Bureau of Credit Histories.

The number of car loans increased by 3% compared to the same period last year. In absolute terms, the indicator increased by 30%, Izvestia reports. The growth is due to the implementation of the state program of preferential car loans. In the third quarter of 2017, the "First Car" and "Family Car" programs began to operate.
