Ufa Kashkadan Park reconstruction project is presented on All-Russian portal "Cities of Future"

The reconstruction project of Kashkadan Park in Ufa is presented on the All-Russian portal «Cities of the Future» among 235 projects implemented in 40 cities. "The main task of the Ufa park reconstruction is to disclose a potential of Lake Kashkadan by creating a circular pedestrian route. The sports zone and attractions are planned to be preserved and provided with new infrastructure. It is planned to improve pedestrian connections, develop a network of pedestrian and cycling paths", the press service of the Ufa administration reports.

To date, works on the engineering networks survey are conducted, an outline of the main avenue of the park is formed, sand and gravel base of the central zone is laid, curb stones are installed, pedestrian paths are set up, large trees are planted in the park. The park will be designed for activities for all seasons and different groups of residents.

The Kashkadan reconstruction is a continuation of the "City in the Park" concept, which has been adopted and is being implemented in Ufa in recent years. Over the past six years, 19 new and 28 existing parks and squares have been built in the capital of Bashkortostan. The park renovation plan was developed by the Ufa Consulting Bureau UrbanBairam together with Project-M Studio and the Moscow consulting office Strelka within the framework of the national priority project "Formation of Comfortable Urban Environment", which is financed from the federal budget.
