Bashkiria customs marked increase in foreign trade turnover by 1.6 times

UFA, 26 October 2017. /Bashinform News Agency, Olga Murtazina/. In Bashkiria since the beginning of the year, foreign trade turnover grew by 1.6 times (compared to last year's indicator) and amounted to $ 571.2 million.

Exports grew by 1.7 times and amounted to 80.7% of turnover ($ 461 million). Import increased by 26.5% ($ 110.2 million).

In the third quarter, the import of all commodity groups increased, with the exception of metals and metal products. Exporters shipped out machine-building units (aircraft engines and their parts, helicopters), chemical products (styrene, nitrogen fertilizers, butyl acrylate, synthetic rubber). The growth of imports was due to the increase in the import of engineering products.

In the third quarter of 2017, 330 participants of foreign economic activity maintained trade relations with 88 countries of the world. In the third quarter of last year, 265 organizations and entrepreneurs traded with 86 states.

Trade with non-CIS countries grew by 77.4% on exports and by 27.5% on imports. With the CIS countries, the volume of exports increased by 57%, imports - by 16.5%.
