UFA, 25 October 2017. /Bashinform News Agency/. The Head of Bashkortostan Rustem Khamitov met with Alex Bongrain, the Savencia (France) group of companies CEO. During the meeting, prospects for the Belebeevsky Dairy Plant development and expansion of its products range were discussed, including a possibility of organizing soft cheeses production.
Recall that the other day the agreement on intentions was signed by the president of the Neral group of companies Ernst Isaev and the CEO of the French concern Alex Bongrain, according to which the French company plans to purchase from the Neral group a majority stake in the Belebeevsky Dairy Plant. The corresponding transaction will be concluded after its approval by the Federal Antimonopoly Service.
According to the Head of the Republic, the Government of Bashkortostan is ready to render the company the necessary support for the implementation of new projects.
“Currently the plant's condition is very good. This enterprise is at the highest level in terms of its competencies, the quality of the goods produced. But you can transform it and make it really super modern. In this regard the republican Government will help you in every possible way”, Rustem Khamitov stressed.
Alex Bongrain noted that the company plans, first of all, to rely on the rich experience accumulated by the Belebeevsky Dairy Plant, continuing its successful undertakings, and also to start producing branded soft cheeses.
“The plant has become a leader in production of cheeses, dairy products not only in the region, but also in Russia. We are glad that we have such honor to continue what has already been started. First of all, we are talking about production, which is already established,” said Alex Bongrain. “I hope that we will also manage to produce soft French cheeses. We are ready to invest in order to produce cheeses, which are our brand in France. And we are ready to transfer our knowledge so that your plant will become a leader in the production of such cheeses.”
The CEO of Savencia group of companies invited the Head of the Republic to tasting soft cheeses after their first batch would be released.
