Russians spent 1.4 trillion rubles for new cars this year

UFA, 23 October 2017. /Bashinform News Agency, Gulfiya Akulova/. This year, Russians spent 1.4 trillion rubles for buying new cars. From January to September revenues from cars sale increased by 13% compared to the last year, the "Autostat" analytical agency reports.

During this period, 1 million 47.2 thousand cars were sold in the Russian market, which is by 10.7% more than for the nine months of 2016 (945.6 thousand vehicles).

As of July 1, 2017, the Russian car fleet exceeded the mark of 50 million cars - this is about one third of the country's population.
