Positive trends in industry, trade and agriculture are registered in Bashkiria
UFA, 23 October 2017. /Bashinform News Agency, Galina Bakhshieva/. In Bashkortostan, according to the data of the first nine months of 2017, there are positive trends in the industry.
According to the press service of the Ministry of Economic Development of the region, the industrial production index was 102.6% (in the Russian Federation - 101.8%) with a forecast of 102.1%.
In the field of agriculture, as compared to 2016, the growth of indicators was marked in cattle breeding. In the republic, the production of livestock and poultry for slaughter in live weight increased. The egg production remained at last year's level.
The turnover of retail trade increased by 1.6% compared with 2016 (in the Russian Federation - by 0.5%). The consumer price index was lower than nationwide figures (101.7%) and amounted to 100.8%.
As for housing construction, now our republic ranks second among the regions of the Volga Federal District in this indicator. In the first nine months of this year, residential buildings with a total area of 1.6 million square meters were commissioned in Bashkortostan. There is also a positive trend in the social sphere.
Thus, the average monthly nominal wage exceeded 29,000 rubles in the region, which is 6.4% more than in January-September 2016.
The level of registered unemployment was 1.0% and does not exceed the estimate for 2017. The level of total unemployment according to the International Labor Organization methodology is 5.6%.
As the Minister of Economic Development of Bashkortostan Sergei Novikov said at a meeting in the republican government, in the first nine months of 2017, 42 municipalities achieved positive results in more than half of social and economic development indicators.
