Grain harvest exceeded 3.8 million tons in Bashkiria

UFA, 19 October 2017. /Bashinform News Agency, Galina Bakhshieva/. In Bashkiria, 3.835 million tons of grain were harvested with an average yield of 22 centners per hectare.

According to the Ministry of Agriculture of the republic, the highest yield is in Chekmagush District, where 39.7 centners of grain are received from each hectare.

32.6 and 30.7 centners of grain are harvested per hectare in Sterlitamak and Meleuz Districts.

The farms of Sterlitamak, Meleuz and Chekmagush Districts collected more than 225, 171 and 155 thousand tons of grain, respectively, according to the press service of the agrarian department.
