Zatonskaya CHP plant will start operating in spring 2018

UFA, 18 October 2017. /Bashinform News Agency/. On October 17, the Head of Bashkortostan Rustem Khamitov took part in the plenary session of the 17th Russian Energy Forum, which takes place in the exhibition complex VDNKH-Expo in Ufa. Before the meeting, the head of the republic inspected an exposition of the 23rd specialized exhibition "Heat Supply. Electrical Engineering. Cables" and the exhibition "Energy of the Urals" organized in the framework of the forum. More than 120 companies from 23 Russian regions, as well as dealers of the leading international energy holdings, presented their innovative developments there.

Rustem Khamitov discussed a construction of Zatonskaya CHP plant at the stand of "Bashkir Generation Company" LLC. According to the representatives of the company, at the moment there are 137 people working at the facility. Until the end of the year, it is planned to complete construction and installation works, and by the spring of 2018 to perform commissioning of the equipment.

“The plant will be launched in April-May 2018, although construction and installation works will be completed in December,” Rustem Khamitov told reporters. “A modern steam and gas unit will operate at the station. Undoubtedly, its efficiency will be very high. The launch of the CHP plant will allow stopping some generating capacities at the old stations, which currently operate inefficiently. This is a new step, moving in the right direction.”

Recall that the construction of Zatonskaya CHP plant is the largest investment project in the modern history of the power system of Bashkortostan. Its implementation began in 2008, but in 2010 construction works were suspended. In July 2015, its construction was resumed.
