Bashkiria delegation took part in Russian-Armenian forum
UFA, 9 October 2017. /Bashinform News Agency, Galina Bakhshieva/. The delegation of Bashkortostan took part in the 6th Russian-Armenian Interregional Forum in Yerevan. It was held in conjunction with the 2nd International Forum of the Eurasian Partnership.
The forum was organized by the Ministry of Economic Development of Russia and the Ministry of Territorial Administration and Development of the Republic of Armenia.
The main goal is to create a permanent information and discussion platform for cooperation between the business communities of the EEU, CIS, BRICS, SCO, EU.
The forum was attended by representatives of governments, business circles and the expert community, the leaders of well-known world companies of Russia, Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, as well as the United States, China, Qatar, South Korea, India and other countries, the press service of the "Office Group" Congress-Bureau of Bashkortostan reported.
The delegation of Bashkortostan was headed by the Deputy Prime Minister of the Republican Government Salavat Sagitov.
The business program was based on five thematic sections dedicated to strengthening trade and economic relations between Russia and Armenia, developing bilateral interregional cooperation in the field of tourism, industry, agriculture, information technology and innovation, and strengthening bilateral cooperation in the humanitarian sphere.
