Vietnamese investors plan to build dairy complex in Bashkiria

UFA, 6 October 2017. /Bashinform News Agency, Galina Bakhshieva/. The Government of Bashkortostan signed in Moscow an agreement on cooperation with the Vietnamese company TH True Milk, a part of the TH Group Corporation. The document was signed by the Prime Minister of the Republican government Rustem Mardanov and the corporation CEO Hoang Kong Chang at the Russian Agricultural Exhibition "Golden Autumn".

Vietnamese investors are planning to build a modern milk production complex in Buzdyak District of Bashkortostan at one of the farms that needs modernization. The investment project also provides for the lease of agricultural land for the development of its own livestock, the press service of the regional government reports.

TN True Milk is one of the largest milk producers in Vietnam. It has its own farms, dairy and feed mills, an integrated medical center, a chain of shops. In addition, organic vegetables are grown and functional food products are cultivated there. The company occupies more than 30 percent of the dairy market in Vietnam.

"Our colleagues have already visited Bashkortostan, assessed the potential of the region, a number of potential sites," Hoang Kong Chang explained after signing the agreement. "We see the support from the government of the republic and we will try to start implementing the project in the near future".
