More than 2 billion rubles is allocated for landscaping and creation of parks in Bashkortostan capital

UFA, 6 October 2017. /Bashinform News Agency, Olga Murtazina/. More than 2 billion rubles without taking into account sponsorship funds were allocated for the improvement of Ufa parks and construction of new ones. These are mostly federal budget funds allocated as part of the implementation of housing and utilities services projects. Over the past six years 28 parks have been reconstructed and 19 new parks and squares have been built in the city.

In 2017, the "Formation of Modern Urban Environment" federal program is implemented in the city. It implies not just landscaping and asphalting, but creation of environment according to a certain concept based on the wishes of local residents. The largest project under this program is a reconstruction and development of Kashkadan Park in Sipailovo (80 million rubles of federal funds and 25 million from the city budget).

Total, the financing of urban improvement measures amounted to 279 million rubles (223.8 million - federal, 45.8 million - republican, 9.5 million – local residents’ funds). Of this amount, 90 million rubles were allocated for the improvement of public areas, 180 million for the improvement of 81 yards near 105 apartment buildings.
