Anhui delegation visited Sterlitamak - Huangshan twin city

UFA, 29 September 2017. /Bashinform News Agency, Olga Murtazina/. A business delegation from the Chinese province of Anhui visited Sterlitamak. It was a return visit in the format of "Volga-Yangtze". During the June trip to Anhui, the head of Sterlitamak, Vladimir Kulikov, signed "A Letter on Twin-City Relations Establishment between the Cities of Sterlitamak and Huangshan". Huangshan is one of the largest urban districts of Anhui with a population of 1.47 million people.

In the Bashkir twin city, Chinese businessmen and officials were briefed with the social and industrial facilities of Sterlitamak. The head of the delegation - deputy head of the foreign affairs department of the Government of Anhui province Cheng Huaijun, shared the experience of the region development, located in the center of eastern China. "The scheme of cooperation with the Russian Federation has already been established, and Huangshan, as a twin city of Sterlitamak, hopes for further economic and investment cooperation," Mr. Cheng marked.

The members of the delegation also visited the branch of Bashkir State University with a technopark, where currently about 150 children studied electrical engineering, robotics and other programs. The head of the university Alexey Kovalsky told about innovations in the work of the university, and the guests talked with students.

Together with the Acting First Deputy Head of the City Administration Yury Trott, the members of the delegation got acquainted with the production process of RuscoLift Company located in the territory of the Inmash concern. The visit ended with a tour of the pedestrian zone in the historic part of the city.
