Omsk Region Governor named agreement with Bashkiria significant event in interregional cooperation development

UFA, 28 September 2017. /Bashinform News Agency, Galina Bakhshieva/. The Governor of the Omsk Region Viktor Nazarov, named the upcoming signing of an agreement with Bashkortostan on cooperation between the Petrochemical Territorial Cluster RB and the Petrochemical Industrial Cluster of the Omsk Region a significant event in the development of interregional cooperation. He stated this today in Ufa, at the Third Small Business Forum of the SCO and BRICS Regions.

According to Viktor Nazarov, this long-term document will give a good impetus for the successful development of interregional cooperation.

As previously reported by the Bashinform News Agency, on September 28, the Republic of Bashkortostan will conclude an intercluster agreement on the petrochemical complex development in the Omsk region. The amount of investments is about 200 billion rubles. Contract works should be carried out mainly by small and medium business of Bashkortostan.

In particular, it relates to design, engineering, construction and installation works and equipment manufacturing.

The Head of the Republic Rustem Khamitov, the Governor of the Omsk region Viktor Nazarov, the Special Presidential Envoy of the Russian Federation for the SCO affairs Bakhtiyor Khakimov, representatives of the regions of the SCO and BRICS countries, relevant ministries, official delegations, representatives of companies from the near and far abroad countries, experts and business structures, as well as representatives of small and medium-sized businesses participate in the Forum opened today in Ufa.
