Chinese delegation discusses joint ventures creation in Bashkortostan

UFA, 28 September 2017. /Bashinform News Agency, Galina Bakhshieva/. A delegation from China headed by the Dean of the Emerging Markets Institute of Beijing State University Hu Biliang is paying an official visit to Bashkortostan.

The delegation also included the president of the financial corporation "Silk Way" Li Shan, chairman of the global small business incubator for small business No. 1 Wang Mingyong, the leaders of the Beijing Financial Services Corporation "HengChang", a group of companies "Zhengzhou-Fenghua", the training organization "ShengJing360.com" and engineering and construction entrepreneurs.

According to the press service of the Ministry of Economic Development of Bashkortostan, the purpose of the visit is to get acquainted with the trade and investment sphere, study the local market and projects, discuss possibilities of establishing a research center in the territory of the republic together with the Beijing State University.

Yesterday at the republican government, the Chinese delegation discussed the directions and prospects for cooperation between Bashkortostan and China. In particular, it was regarding new joint ventures establishing using modern technologies. Members of the delegation were provided with information on the state of the economy and the investment climate in the region, major investment projects. The guests were invited to consider a possibility of participating in such infrastructure projects as the construction of a bridge across the Belaya River on the western bypass of Ufa, the eastern exit from Ufa, as well as the high-speed tram line.

As the Ministry of Economic Development RB informs, new opportunities for the development of cooperation in trade, industry, finance and tourism between the regions of China and Bashkortostan emerged due to the construction of a 282-kilometer section of the international transport highway "Europe-Western China" within the framework of the reconstruction of the Great Silk Way.

Today the delegation from Beijing participates in the events of the Third Small Business Forum of the SCO and BRICS in Ufa. It will continue its work until September 29.
