Bashkiria delegation will take part in APIEXPO-2017 International Exhibition and Apimondia 45th Congress in Istanbul

UFA, 28 September 2017. /Bashinform News Agency, Alim Faizov/. From September 29 to October 4, in Turkey an APIEXPO-2017 International Exhibition will take place, where the Russian Federation will display its stand. The exhibition will be held in Istanbul, in the Congress Center on the area of 16 thousand square meters. 200 exhibitors from all over the world are expected to attend it.
As the press-service of the Bashkortostan Congress Bureau "Office Group" informs, the stand of Russia is divided into several functional zones. Honey and beekeeping products will be presented by beekeepers from Bashkortostan, Tatarstan, Chelyabinsk region, Altai and Krasnodar regions. Visitors to the APIEXPO-2017 will have an opportunity to taste the Bashkir chak-chak, different types of honey and phyto-tea in the tasting zone. Presentation of the history of apitherapy in Russia will take place; guests will be offered to undergo procedures with hand-made cosmetics containing beekeeping products.
The concert program will be presented by professional artists of the Faizi Gaskarov State Folk Dance Ensemble and the Bashkir State Philharmonic Society. Pleasant surprises, a demonstration of films about beekeeping of Russia and Bashkortostan, a photozone devoted to wild-hive beekeeping - a unique folk craft for the wild honey production preserved only in the territory of our republic are prepared for all guests of the stand.
Simultaneously with the exhibition, the 45th Congress of the International Federation of Beekeeping Associations "Apimondia" will be held. This largest industry event is traditionally conducted every two years and gathers producers of honey and technologists from around the world.
In Istanbul, the issue of hosting the 47th Apimondia Congress in 2021 will be decided. The Russian Federation is bidding for the right to host an exhibition and congress along with Denmark, Serbia and Slovenia. Holding this forum in Russia, in the capital of Bashkortostan, Ufa, can give an additional impetus to the growth capacity of domestic beekeeping.
