Public sector employees salaries are raised since January 1

UFA, 27 September 2017. /Bashinform News Agency, Galina Bakhshieva/. Salaries of public sector employees not listed in the May decrees of the Russian President will be indexed from January 1, 2018 by 4%, and in 2019 and 2020 by 4% - since October 1. This is reported by «Izvestia».

According to the calculations of the Ministry of Labor, it is about 5.8 million people. As early as next year, about 80 billion rubles will be used to index the salaries of state employees in the regions. This is twice the level of 2017.

According to Maxim Topilin, Minister of Labor and Social Protection of Russia, there will be no risks from the point of view of unemployment level increasing and lack of funds in the regions.

Russian President Vladimir Putin said he believed it was possible to index salaries to employees of budgetary institutions not mentioned in the May decrees.
