Bashkiria and Omsk Region will be first in Russia to create interregional cluster worth 200 billion rubles

UFA, 26 September 2017. /Bashinform News Agency, Galina Bakhshieva/. An inter-cluster agreement will be signed between Bashkortostan and the Omsk Region at the upcoming the SCO and BRICS Small Business Forum on September 27-29.

"We conclude an intercluster agreement with the Omsk Region on the petrochemical complex development. The amount of investments is about 200 billion rubles. The work should be carried out mainly by the small business of the Republic of Bashkortostan", Farkhad Samedov the Deputy Prime Minister of the Government of Bashkortostan stated at a press conference at the Bashinform News Agency.

According to him, it relates, in particular, to design, engineering, construction and installation works and equipment manufacturing. In the Omsk region, a serious petrochemical complex development is planned. This is their strategic task, "an absolutely real strategy and they will do it".

The Small Business Forum of the SCO and BRICS is held in Bashkortostan at the initiative of the head of the republic since 2015, with the support of the Russian President and the Government of the country. In a short time, it has become a recognized venue for strengthening interregional cooperation, export potential of Russian and foreign small enterprises, and exchange of international experience in supporting small businesses.
