Industrial production index has grown by 2.7% in Bashkiria year to date

UFA, 20 September 2017. /Bashinform News Agency, Olga Murtazina/. In Bashkiria, the industrial production index has increased by 2.7% since the beginning of the year compared to January-August 2016. This is reported by the Bashkortostan Statistics Agency. The republican IPI amounted to 101.9% for the period from the beginning of the year compared to January-August 2016.
The increase in output was observed in production of paper and paper products (2.3 times to January-August 2016), furniture (161.9%), other vehicles and equipment (135.4%), textiles, computers, electronic and optical products (118.0-118.8%), finished metal products (117.7%), beverages (116.2%), leather and leather goods (112.1%), clothing (109.0% ), extraction of other minerals (106.8%).
Positive trends were marked in production of food products, processing of wood (104.2-105.4% to January-August 2016), production of other non-metallic mineral products, chemicals and chemical products, machinery and equipment (102-102.7% ), other finished products (100.9%).
The decrease compared to the eight months of the previous year was registered in production of medicines and medical materials 1.9 times (by January-August 2016), extraction of metal ores - by 10.2%, metallurgical production, production of rubber and plastic products - by 3, 1-5,3%, printing and copying - by 1,4%, production of oil products, extraction of crude oil and natural gas, production of electrical equipment, vehicles, trailers and semitrailers - by 0.2-0.9%.
The industrial production index in supplying electric power, gas and steam, air conditioning amounted to 105.5% to January-August 2016, 106.2% in water supply, wastewater, organization of waste collection and disposal, and activity on pollution response.
In the Volga Federal District this indicator varied from 98.4% in Udmurtia to 112.1% in Mordovia.
