157 billion taxes were collected in Bashkiria for the first half-year

In the first half of the year, residents of Bashkiria paid taxes totaling about 157 billion rubles, which is 25 percent more than the last year, the Federal Tax Service for the republic reports. The republican budget received 62 billion rubles of this amount, according to Komsomolskaya Pravda-Ufa.

This year, up to the first half of the year, 12 billion taxpayers' debts to the budget were settled. Of these, 9 billion were received as ready cash, the rest was written off and credited to pay other taxes in the prescribed manner. The publication cites data with reference to the head of the Federal Tax Service of Russia for Bashkortostan, Marat Vakhitov. Last year, for the same period, 10 billion rubles were settled, of which only 6.6 billion were received as ready cash.
