1.4 million sq m of housing were commissioned in Bashkortostan year to date

UFA, 14 September 2017. /Bashinform News Agency, Olga Murtazina/. In Bashkortostan, 18.8 thousand apartments with a total area of 1.4 million square meters have been put into operation since the beginning of the year. 70% of this housing is built at the expense of loans and own funds of citizens. Residents of the republic built almost 10 thousand of their own houses with an area of 989 thousand square meters. In general, the volume of construction showed a decline: 90% by January-August 2016.

In the Volga Federal District, Bashkiria now takes the second place in terms of commissioned housing, and the fourth in terms of housing per capita. 346 square meters of housing per one thousand people are put into operation in the republic, Bashkortostan Statistics Agency reports.
