Damage from last Monday rainfall was calculated in Ufa

UFA, 11 September 2017. /Bashinform News Agency, Olga Murtazina/. In Ufa, the downpour caused damage to the city economy for 46.5 million rubles, the city administration reported. The largest cost items are the recovery of asphalt-concrete surfacing - over 14.8 million rubles, repair of tramways - about 12 million, emergency repair works on outdoor lighting and traffic light facilities - more than 2.6 million rubles.

According to the data of Bashkir Met Office, on September 4, 115 mm of precipitation fell from 15.00 to 17.00, and 122 mm by 20.00. This amount of precipitation is 244% of the monthly norm of September, or 678% of the ten-day norm. The observed meteorological phenomenon is characterized by weather forecasters as "heavy downpour" and is a dangerous natural phenomenon.
