Tour Operators of Russia will receive 1 billion subsidies for domestic tourism development

UFA, 30 August 2017. /Bashinform News Agency, Galiya Nabieva/. The Transport Department of Russia together with the Ministry of Culture is developing a new mechanism for subsidizing trips to popular Russian resorts. This project may begin to operate as early as next year, Izvestia reports.

Thus, domestic tour operators can get special subsidies for recreation at sea resorts of the Krasnodar Territory and Crimea. According to the publication, it is about allocating 1 billion rubles. In international practice such experience of subsidizing takes place, for example, in Turkey and Israel. There, tour operators receive money for each traveled tourist.
