Kumertau investment potential was presented in Udmurtia

UFA, 3 August 2017. /Bashinform News Agency, Alim Faizov/. In the Udmurt city of Sarapul, a strategic session "Mono-Town - Boiling Point" was held. Representatives of mono-cities from different regions of Russia participated in it.

The session was attended by the First Deputy Prime Minister Igor Shuvalov, the Plenipotentiary Envoy of the President of Russia to the Volga Federal District Mikhail Babich.

The meeting was held by the head of the priority project of the Government of the Russian Federation "Integrated Development of Mono-Towns" Irina Makieva.

One of the speakers of the session was the head of the Bashkir city of Kumertau, Boris Belyaev. He talked about the results of work done to develop a single-industry territory, and also shared his plans for the future strategy.

According to the head of the city, the Kumertau development program includes 54 projects in 14 directions. Today, 10 projects of the program are fully implemented. One of the priority tasks facing the city, emphasized Boris Belyaev, is creation of a favorable investment climate. In the current year in mid-October in Kumertau it is planned to hold an image event - "Investment Picnic-2", which will become a networking place for investors, representatives of authorities and development institutions.

At the four discussion venues of the session in Sarapul, the meeting participants discussed the issues of entrepreneurial initiatives promotion and development of the small and medium-sized business sector, creation of creative public spaces in cities, improvement of territories, enhancement of tourist attraction, attraction of investments, the press service of the chief federal inspector for Bashkortostan informs.
