FAS initiated case against major mobile operators

UFA, 1 August 2017. /Bashinform News Agency, Galina Bakhshieva/. The Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS) filed a case against the major mobile operators due to high prices at providing communication services in national roaming.

As «Izvestia» reports, in the near future all relevant documents will be prepared. The FAS hopes to completely cancel roaming in the country before the first quarter of 2018.

Earlier, the agency issued a warning to MTS, MegaFon, Vimpelcom and Tele2.

In late June, the deputies of "Just Russia" introduced a bill to the State Duma, which provides for the abolition of national roaming.
