Gross milk yield has exceeded 885 tons since beginning of year in Bashkortostan

UFA, 31 July 2017. /Bashinform News Agency, Olga Murtazina/. In Bashkortostan, the gross milk yield was 885,204 tons from the beginning of the year. In the high-milk season, an average of 15.9 kg is received per cow. Most of all milk - 23.1 kg are received from cows of Uchaly district, the Ministry of Agriculture RB reports. Of the total milk yield, agricultural enterprises and farms received 404.7 tons and sold out 358.45 tons of milk.

The purchase of milk from the private sector farmers since the beginning of the year amounted to almost 46.7 tons. In Baimak and Ilishevo districts, residents sold 2.5 and 2.38 tons of milk, respectively.
