Contract was signed for construction of Eastern Exit from Ufa - Bashkortostan State Committee for Transport

UFA, 31 July 2017. /Bashinform News Agency, Galina Bakhshieva/. In Istanbul, the Bashkir Concession Company and Limakmarashchaavtodorogi LLC, part of the Limak Group company (Turkey) signed an agreement for the design and construction of the Eastern exit from Ufa.

"Under the terms of the contract, the contractor proceeds to the design stage. A full-scale construction will begin after the financial closure and approval of the project by Glavgosekspertiza (General Board of State Expert Review) of Russia. It is expected to achieve financial closure within the next six months", the press secretary of the State Committee for Transport and Roads Anastasia Sablikova reports.

On June 1 this year at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum, Bashkortostan and Bashkir Concession Company, the subsidiary of the VTB Group, signed a concession agreement on financing, construction and operation of the toll road in the republic, a new exit from Ufa to the federal highway M -5 "Ural".

The term of the concession is 25 years.

Within the framework of the concession agreement it is planned to complete the construction of the tunnel, to build a bridge and a road, to establish charging and traffic management system, as well as a base for maintaining and operating roads.
