11,5 thousand fairs are planned to be held in Bashkiria until end of year

UFA, 28 July 2017. /Bashinform News Agency, Galina Bakhshieva/. By the end of this year, 11.5 thousand fairs are planned to be held in Bashkortostan, the State Committee for Trade and Consumer Protection RB reports.

In the first six months, nearly 5,500 different fairs were held in the region. Manufacturers of products, mainly agricultural, were provided with more than nine thousand trade places.

As reported by Bashinform News Agency in January-June the retail trade turnover grew by three percent to the level of the last year and reached 345.3 billion rubles.

Among the regions of Russia, Bashkortostan now ranks eighth in terms of the absolute value of retail trade turnover and the third - in terms of growth.

The retail trade turnover per capita amounted to 84.9 thousand rubles since the beginning of the year, or +7 percent to the level of 2016.
