Bashkortostan State Committee for Tourism: Transfer from Ufa to Abzakovo in less than four hours

UFA, 27 July 2017. /Bashinform News Agency, Alfiya Agliullina/. In Bashkortostan it is planned to launch a high-speed electric train "Ufa-Beloretsk". In the case of the launch of a high-speed route, a transfer from Ufa to the ski centre in Abzakovo will take less than four hours. Technically, this is real, the chairman of the regional state tourism committee Vyacheslav Gilyazitdinov shared with Business FM Ufa.

According to him, today the train runs along the route "Ufa-Beloretsk" for about six to eight hours, in winter by car the trip takes about five hours.

"If by the fall or by the winter it is possible to start an electric train, then the trip will be less than four hours. This is convenient both for residents of the republic, and for tourists from other regions", said Vyacheslav Gilyazitdinov.

The task is set to Russian Railways that the ticket fare and travel time by train could compete with a taxi. Now the issue of budget co-financing of the project is discussed with Russian Railways.
