Milk production in Bashkiria exceeded last year's figures
UFA, 25 July 2017. /Bashinform News Agency, Galina Bakhshieva/. In Bashkortostan, milk production is growing. On average, 16.1 kg of milk are received per cow daily. This is 0.4 kg more than a year ago.
At the same time, the cows of Uchaly district give the greatest amount of milk - 23.1 kg.
According to the press service of the Ministry of Agriculture RB, the gross milk yield in the republic has reached almost 865 thousand tons since the beginning of the year. The sale of milk exceeded 395,000 tons during this time, of which more than 350,000 are accounted for agricultural enterprises and farms.
Since the beginning of this year, the population has purchased over 45 tons of milk. Besides, this work is organized best of all in Baimak and Ilishevo districts of the republic.
