Two production and ecology investment projects are implemented in Beloretsk
UFA, 17 July 2017. /Bashinform News Agency/. The Beloretsk Metallurgical Plant (JSC BMP, a part of the Mechel Group) was visited by the Prime Minister of the Government of the Republic of Bashkortostan Rustem Mardanov.
The visit took place last weekend within the framework of his working trip to Beloretsk, with a plan to visit a number of city facilities under construction and put into operation, as well as the town backbone enterprise - Beloretsk Metallurgical Plant.
Rustem Mardanov, accompanied by Viktor Kamelin, the General Director of BMP JSC, and Vladislav Mironov, Beloretsk district head, got acquainted with the work of the enterprise and visited the main unit of BMP - a rolling shop. The Prime Minister was also informed about the implementation of two investment projects of the plant in production of multi-strand ropes with polymer coating and the wire- cable rope-making production modernization.
"I am very pleased that after taking some pause the plant is beginning to develop actively and implementing new investment projects. The production of ropes, which is expected to be launched in 2019, is a very important project for Beloretsk and for the plant as a whole. It is important that the funds of federal programs under the Russian Industry Development Fund are attracted and used here, which make it possible to attract relatively low-cost investments. We are also pleased that the environmental project of the plant is implemented. Now the requirements in terms of ecology become increasingly strict. It is doubly pleasant that this is happening in the Year of Ecology. This is one of the most important projects in the republic and in the country implemented in the field of ecology", said Rustem Mardanov, the Prime Minister of the Republic of Bashkortostan.
He also took part in a solemn event dedicated to the 255th anniversary of BMP and Beloretsk, and awarded three workers of the plant with diplomas of the Republic of Bashkortostan for long-term dedicated work in the field of metallurgy and two – with the honourary title "Honoured Metallurgist of the Republic of Bashkortostan".
