Migration loss decreased by one third in Bashkiria

In Bashkiria, the migration loss of the population decreased by one third, RBC-Ufa analyzed the Bashkir Statistics Agency data for five months of this year. Last year's figure was 4.6 thousand people, now - three thousand people. Since the beginning of the year 46.5 thousand people arrived in the republic, 49.5 thousand left it.

Outflow of population is recorded in most rural areas, except for Ufa and Iglino districts, which are part of the metropolitan area. The largest decrease is in Baimak district - 432 people. People leave also from the cities of the republic: for example, 467 people left Sterlitamak and 260 the city of Salavat.

Ufa "grew" by 530 residents. A year ago, the Bashkir capital was the leader in decline - 1600 people left the city. As explained by the city authorities, mostly they were migrants which residence period in Russia had expired.
