Bashkiria was included in Top-10 of population environmental activity rating

UFA, 12 July 2017. /Bashinform News Agency/. Bashkiria reached Top-10 of the "green rating" of population environmental activity. The rating is prepared within the framework of the International contest "Eco-tradition" and shows the level of activity of the population in formation and development of modern ecological traditions. The rating is based on the statistics of the of Yandex search queries. Bashkortostan was on the 10th place of the rating, and the list was headed by the Tyumen region.

The "Eco-tradition" contest started in February 2016. "In 2015, interest in the topic of ecological traditions was zero. Now we are seeing a completely different picture," says the author of the project Olga Lavlinskaya. "This year citizens of Russia, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan and Belarus took part in the competition. Among the winners of the prestigious competition is the young resident of Bashkiria Ulyana Simakova, who took the second honourable place".
