UFA, 12 July 2017. /Bashinform News Agency, Galina Bakhshieva/. The Arbitration Court of Bashkortostan dismissed a petition by Felix Yevtushenkov, son of the head of Sistema JSFC Vladimir Yevtushenkov, as a third person. The Yevtushenkov Jr.'s petition was read out today at the third hearing on the lawsuit filed by Rosneft, Bashneft and the Republic of Bashkortostan against Sistema JSFC and Sistema-Invest for 170.6 billion rubles.
"The third parties that do not submit independent claims are allowed to the proceedings in the event that a judicial act may affect their rights or obligations with respect to one of the parties. Yevtushenkov pointed out that, in his opinion, a judicial act could affect his rights as a former chairman of the Board of Directors of Bashneft. However, the plaintiffs do not challenge any corporate decisions, including those passed by Bashneft's Board of Directors, whose chairman was Felix Yevtushenkov. Losses, according to the plaintiffs, should be reimbursed by the former majority shareholders who directly decided to reorganize the company", the Rosneft representative commented on to Bashinform News Agency.
