Debt on loans increased in Bashkiria - National Bank

UFA, 11 July 2017. /Bashinform News Agency, Galina Bakhshieva/. Debt on loans granted to legal entities and individuals in Bashkortostan, increased to 643.1 billion rubles by June 1 this year. The growth rate by the beginning of the year amounted to 100.9 percent, the press service of the National Bank's department for Bashkortostan reported.

At the beginning of the year, the total amount of loans provided by banks to legal entities and individuals amounted to 637.2 billion rubles.

Total, by June 1, this year, banks issued 39,303.3 billion rubles. The growth rate by the beginning of the year was also 100.9 percent.

As reported by the Bashinform News Agency, in the republic, the deposits of individuals in credit institutions amounted to 346 billion rubles by June 1, 2017. The growth rate by the beginning of the year was 102.7 percent.

At the beginning of this year, 337 billion rubles were on the accounts of population in banks.

A total of 65 credit institutions operate in the territory of Bashkortostan. Bashkortostan ranks second in the Volga Federal District and sixth in Russia by the number of banking units operating in the region.
