Yards and public areas improvement has started in six cities of Bashkiria

UFA, 6 July 2017. /Bashinform News Agency, Galina Bakhshieva/. Improvement of yard and public areas is launched in six of the 23 cities of Bashkortostan participating this year in the implementation of the "Modern Urban Environment Formation" priority project.

Among them there are Neftekamsk, Sibai, Beloretsk, Dyurtyuli, Uchaly and Yanaul. The remaining municipalities are now completing the competitive procedures and are preparing for construction and installation works. This was reported by the press service of the government of the region.

As reported by the Bashinform News Agency, CCTV cameras are installed at the objects of improvement to control the quality and timing of work in the online mode. In some cities, such cameras are already installed and allow real time monitoring the progress of a yard or park improvement.

In addition, information boards should be installed in all yards and public areas with information about a facility, types of planned works, their costs and contacts of contractors.

Due to the implementation of this project, in 2017 alone it is planned to equip 354 domestic territories with coverage of 604 apartment buildings and 35 public areas in the republic. Of these, there are 15 parks, five squares, three squares, six pedestrian zones, two public areas, one alley, an embankment, a sports field and a transport infrastructure area.

Since 2018, participation in the priority project will be taken by all settlements of the republic with a population of more than one thousand people.

The minimum list of works for the improvement of yards includes repair of courtyard driveways, ensuring illumination of yard territories, installation of benches, litter bins.

The additional list includes equipment for car parks, children's and (or) sports grounds, the arrangement of sidewalks, pedestrian paths.
