Food prices in Bashkortostan: statistics

UFA, 3 July 2017. /Bashinform News Agency, Galina Bakhshieva/. The Bashkortostan Statistics Agency published average consumer prices for socially important food products in June this year.
According to statisticians, beef, except for boneless meat, cost 300 rubles per kilo in the republic, pork 236 rubles, and mutton 354 rubles per kilo.
Chilled and frozen chicken was traditionally cheaper - an average of 119 rubles per kilo.
Butter cost 488 rubles per kilogram in June, sunflower oil - 94 rubles per liter.
A liter of 2.5-3.2 whole pasteurized milk cost an average of 46 rubles, whole sterilized milk of similar fat content - 59 rubles.
Chicken eggs could be purchased for 43 rubles for a pack of ten, sugar - for 42 rubles per kilo, black tea – for 676 rubles per kilo, salt – for 9 rubles per kilo.
The average price for wheat flour was 29 rubles per kilogram in June. The cost of bread and bakery products ranged from 43 to 44 rubles per kilogram. The price of pasta was 46 rubles per kilogram.
As for cereals, a kilogram of ground rice was 49 rubles, millet - 24 rubles, buckwheat - 51 rubles.
According to the research, onions were the cheapest among vegetables and fruit - 39 rubles per kilo. The cost of carrots and potatoes stood at 44 rubles, white cabbage - 54 rubles, apples - 100 rubles per kilogram.
