Head of Bashkortostan signed order to hold 3rd Small Business Forum of SCO and BRICS Regions in Ufa

UFA, 30 June 2017. /Bashinform News Agency, Galina Bakhshieva/. To create conditions for cooperation development between entrepreneurs of the regions of the countries participating in the Shanghai Cooperation Organization and the BRICS, the Third Small Business Forum of the SCO and BRICS regions will take place in Ufa on September 27 to 29 this year, with participation of official delegations from constituent entities of the Russian Federation and foreign countries. The corresponding order was signed by the Head of Bashkortostan Rustem Khamitov. This was reported by the press service of the regional government.

The Forum is aimed at increasing trade turnover between the countries, mutual attraction of investments, as well as eliminating barriers hampering the development of trade and economic relations between the SCO and BRICS countries.

The September forum will focus on such topics as export niches and promising markets of the SCO and BRICS countries, the development of small business through mechanisms for financing regional projects, creation of a free trade zone within the SCO framework, and the role of small and medium-sized businesses in the implementation of megaprojects.
