Road repairs doubled in Ufa due to "Safe and Quality Roads" program

UFA, 29 June 2017. /Bashinform News Agency, Galina Bakhshieva/. The roads, which are repaired in the framework of the priority all-Russian project "Safe and Quality Roads", were inspected in Ufa.

As reported by the Bashinform News Agency, the republic was included in the list of 38 pilot regions of the country where a large-scale project "Safe and Quality Roads" is implemented.

Until 2025 18 billion rubles will be allocated for improvement from the federal and regional budgets.

Thus, this year it is planned to repair 29 Ufa streets, in 2018 - 43 road sections of the Bashkir capital.

In addition, the program includes 278 kilometers of federal roads passing through the Ufa agglomeration.

"This year two billion rubles were directed from the federal and republican budgets – huge funds! Due to the "Safe and Quality Roads" federal project, the repair of roads in the Bashkir capital has doubled, and today, after the competitive procedures, there are some savings. This money will be directed to additional road facilities of Ufa. The Federal Road Agency is now taking samples at some sections of the roadway. If there are any claims, the contractor will eliminate them at his own expense", said Ilyas Munirov, the Deputy Prime Minister of the Government of Bashkortostan.
