Income tax rate for regional investment projects is reduced in Bashkiria

UFA, 22 June 2017. /Bashinform News Agency, Galiya Nabieva/. In Bashkiria, the income tax rate for regional investment projects has been reduced. The document was signed by the Head of Bashkortostan Rustem Khamitov within the framework of measures to improve regional investment legislation. The law provides for reduction in the regional income tax rate for a number of projects from 17% to 10%.

This preference is granted in respect of projects with an investment volume of 50 million rubles aimed at production of new types of goods. These include investment projects implemented in the region by a single participant with no separate subdivisions located outside the region.

In addition, the project should not be implemented by a non-profit, insurance or financial organization and should not be included in the number of residents of the special economic zone or priority development area.

Revenues from the implementation of the investment project should be at least 90% of the total profit of the organization.
