Bashkortostan is awarded high rating according to Russian national scale

UFA, 22 June 2017. /Bashinform News Agency, Alim Faizov/. The "Expert RA" rating agency for the first time assigned Bashkortostan a credit rating at the level of ruAA + on the national scale, the "stable" outlook.

According to the experts, the regional economy is characterized by a multisectoral structure, has a high level of diversification and a stable tax base. The moderately high level of the regional investment attractiveness from RAEX (Expert RA) at level 2B "Medium Potential - Moderate Risk" also has a positive impact on the rating. Experts note that the republic actively involves private investors for the implementation of investment projects. The agency also positively assesses the high level of capital budget expenditures.

At the same time, according to expert RA, high performance indicators of the budget and liquidity, low level of debt became the key factors that influenced the assigned rating level. In addition, the agency identifies the regional conservative financial policy, the balanced expenditure structure and high level of the "May decrees" implementation of the President of the Russian Federation.

It is noted in the rating conclusion that "the Republic of Bashkortostan is characterized by high budget flexibility and effective budgetary policy".
