USPTU delegation took part in World Engineers and Scientists Congress

UFA, 20 June 2017. /Bashinform News Agency/. The USPTU delegation including the rector Ramil Bakhtizin and the dean of the pipeline transport department Sultanmagomed Sultanmagomedov took part in the World Congress of Engineers and Scientists "Future Energy: Innovative Scenarios and Methods of Their Implementation" WSEC-2017, which was held within the framework of the International Exhibition EXPO-2017 "Energy of the Future" in the capital of Kazakhstan - Astana on June 19-20.

More than one thousand prominent scientists and engineers from 51 countries of the world, including the Nobel Prize laureates and the Global Energy International Prize laureates, representatives of science, education, business, government agencies, international organizations and scientific and engineering associations participated in the WSEC-2017 and contributed to the discussion of the energy of the future.

Rafil Bakhtizin, the Rector of the Ufa State Petroleum Technological University, delivered a report at the section "Engineering Education and Its Role in Sustainable Development of the Society: New Approaches. Modern Challenges", Professor Sultanmagomedov made a report at the section "Green Technologies - Solving the Energy Problem".

The USPTU Rector held a number of business meetings with representatives of the top management of the fuel and energy sector of the Republic of Kazakhstan, including graduates of the university.

There was also a meeting with the Nobel Prize winner Rajendra Kumar Pachauri, where an agreement was reached on his working visit to the USPTU.
