IT specialists rank fifth in demand in Bashkiria

In Bashkiria IT specialists are on the fifth place in demand, experts of the HeadHunter recruiting agency concluded. 13% of vacancies of local employers are devoted to the search for these personnel. Competition in the industry is four people per position. The most interest in IT specialists is marked in the cities of Ufa, Sterlitamak and Neftekamsk.

21% of job seekers are women, 79% are men. More than half of the applicants are young people aged 26-35. 85% have higher education, 35% have basic knowledge of English, 6% can be interviewed in English.

According to the data of the "Wages Data Bank" project, in general, the expectations of IT specialists in Bashkiria are higher than the employers’ offers: 27% would like to receive a salary of 30-40 thousand rubles, 20% expects to be paid 40-60 thousand rubles, and another 11% apply for vacancies with a salary of 60-80 thousand rubles. The average salary offered in this sphere is 29 thousand rubles in the republic.
