Bashkiria Government and Roshydromet concluded cooperation agreement

UFA, 9 June 2017. /Bashinform News Agency/. The Government of Bashkiria and Roshydromet (Federal Service for Hydrometeorology and Environmental Monitoring) signed an agreement on cooperation within the framework of the International Environment Forum in Ufa. The contract concerns the sphere of hydrometeorology, monitoring of state and pollution of the environment. The document was signed by the Deputy Prime Minister of the Government of the Republic of Bashkortostan Farhad Samedov and the Deputy Head of Roshydromet Igor Shumakov.

"Joint work of the republic with the federal agency was carried out and before, but there was a need to reconsider it, issuing from current tasks. Environmental standards, requirements for monitoring are changing; new methods and technologies for analyzing the state of the environment are emerging. The republic has a large territory and needs a large network of monitoring stations of water resources, atmospheric air. There is a need in the modern system of the spring flood forecasting. All this is also a part of the joint work," explained the Deputy Prime Minister of the Government RB.
