Regional space activities results to be discussed at forum in Bashkiria

UFA, 31 May 2017. /Bashinform News Agency, Galina Bakhshieva/. On June 8-9, Ufa will host a forum "Space Activity in the Regions of Russia". The forum participants will discuss the development of regional application of space activities results in the social and economic spheres.

The organizers of the forum are JSC "Russian Space Systems" and regional operator of the navigation and information system of Bashkortostan JSC "Transport Navigation Centre", with the support of the republican government and the State Committee for Transport and Road Facilities RB.

The forum participants will discuss organizational, financial and regulatory issues of using the results of space activities in agriculture and forestry, transport and road facilities, healthcare, construction and urban development, fuel and energy complex, mining industry, and law enforcement and special services of Russian regions.

As noted by representatives of the State Committee for Transport RB, the forum of such a format is already becoming traditional for Bashkortostan. Last year, the "GLONASS in the Subjects of Russia: Results of Use and Development Prospects" regional forum was held. About 100 delegates from 21 regions took part in its work.
