Mobile communication in Iremel Natural Park and Shulgan-Tash Reserve in Bashkiria will appear by end of summer

Mobile communication in the territory of the Iremel Natural Park and the Shulgan-Tash Reserve will become accessible to tourists by the end of summer, according to the first deputy general director of JSC "Satellite Telecommunications of Bashkortostan" Bulat Khakimov. The company builds radio towers in specially protected natural areas, 9 million rubles have been allocated for these purposes. In the future, telecom operators will place their equipment on the constructed facilities.

The coverage zone in the territory of the Shulgan-Tash Reserve will be 100%, in Iremel - the entire territory, except for the northern slope. Mobile communication will become available also for residents of the nearest settlements - the village of Nikolaevka, the village of Makhmutovo and the village of Cherniy Klyuch of the Beloretsk district.

"Due to the emergence of mobile communications, in these hard-to-reach places it will be possible to ensure safety of tourists at an entirely different level. From now on while visiting the unique natural places of Bashkortostan, it will be possible to share impressions online, to post pictures and videos on the Internet," said Ildus Yakhin, the Deputy Minister of Natural Resources and Environment of the Republic of Bashkortostan.
