GERT in Ufa: Sberbank employees experienced difficulties faced by physically challenged people in bank

UFA, 23 May 2017. /Bashinform News Agency/. In Ufa for two weeks, employees of the Sberbank checked the quality of the provided banking services to physically challenged people. They wore a special GERT suit imitating physical limitations of a body.

The main goal of this project is to analyze the difficulties faced by physically challenged people in the most common banking transactions. The Sberbank employees distributed the roles of a bank employee and a disabled person, tried to make a transaction, for example, open a deposit, and then recorded their impressions and changed roles. The next step will be to improve the process of servicing special customers based on general observations.

"Sberbank is actively working to adapt products and services to the needs of people with disabilities. The use of GERT suits is only a part of the large project named the "Special Bank". The main idea of the "Special Bank" is to make the services for the disabled and elderly people in our bank as comfortable as possible ", said the executive of the Bashkir branch of the Sberbank Marat Mansurov.

GERT (GERontologic Test suit) is a technological simulator of physical limitations of the body.
