Individuals bank deposits were counted in Bashkiria

UFA, 10 May 2017. /Bashinform News Agency, Galina Bakhshieva/. According to the Branch - National Bank for Bashkortostan, deposits of individuals in credit institutions amounted to 341.2 billion rubles by April 1, 2017. The growth rate by the beginning of the year was 101.2 percent.

At the beginning of this year, 337 billion rubles were on the accounts of the population in banks.

In general, in Russia, deposits of individuals in credit institutions amounted to 24,031.7 billion rubles by April 1, 2017 against 24,303.4 billion, according to the data as of January 1.

A total of 69 credit institutions operate in the territory of Bashkortostan, 1,064 banking units.

Bashkortostan ranks second in the Volga Federal District and sixth in Russia by the number of banking units operating in the region.
