Bashkiria entrepreneurs are invited to participate in "Regions - Sustainable Development" contest

UFA, 4 May 2017. /Bashinform News Agency, Galina Bakhshieva/. Entrepreneurs of Bashkortostan are invited to participate in the annual All-Russian Investment Projects Contest "Regions - Sustainable Development". Projects are accepted until May 20, 2017. The Development Corporation of the Republic of Bashkortostan is a coordinator of the contest in the region.

The purpose of the contest is to increase investment attractiveness of regions and create new mechanisms for financing investment projects. Entrepreneurs, who have applied and have passed a competitive selection, will receive a number of advantages. Among them there is a long period of loan granting (up to 15 years), as well as special financing terms in the form of a lower loan interest rate and a fixed rate to raise funds from private investors.

Projects aimed at solving economic problems, improving quality of life of the local population and investment climate are allowed to participate in the contest. This should be projects that have financially sustainable business models.

In addition, the project budget should be provided by an applicant's own funds of not less than 10 percent, the press service of the Ministry of Economic Development of Bashkortostan informs.
